Well when I first went to the university I wasn't allowed to take an HTML class because they said that liberal arts majors didn't need it. Advance more than a decade and I would like to slap the 'know-it-alls' who decided this.
Well I just now purchased my first HTML book from online so I can start learning the basics. And for everyone who knows me, using anything more complicated than Notepad tends to be dangerous with me and the computer. Ok, not really dangerous, but a distraction. Like I need more distractions in life.
What am I intending to do with these newfound powers I hope to gain through this education? Well for starters something that really interests me: making a better e-book. With my current project I would love to add in links at the end to various concepts in the book for a simple 'point and click' reference. And an index which gives links to the beginning of each chapter.
Well back to work proofreading, I have a long ways to go before I'm done with the Guide to Cold Weather Hiking.
